English
Developing strong communication skills is a clear objective of the English curriculum at Trinity College, as these skills are lifelong and are designed to empower students to be effective in every area of life, both during their school years and in their adult worlds. From Grade 7 to Grade 12, the English curriculum provides students with opportunity to develop reading, writing, listening, speaking, and viewing skills through a programme that explores a range of texts across many genres.
Students integrate the development of these skills with the school’s Macbook usage programme across all year levels. Empowering and upskilling students in good communication skills not only aims to facilitate the development of their own God-given talents and their transition into the career pathway that they want to pursue, but supports their learning in every subject studied at Trinity College.
